Fill in your Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID or Meta pixel ID, and Booqable automatically starts tracking e-commerce events from your checkout.

Add Analytics and Meta to your website to also track e-commerce events for embedded products.

How it works

Meta pixel tracks activity in your online store, helping you understand and target (potential) customers for ads.

1. Enable Meta pixel

  1. If you haven't already, follow Meta's steps to create a Meta pixel.

  2. If you embed Booqable's store on your website, also add the pixel to your website.

  3. In Booqable, go to Settings > SEO > Tracking.

  4. Paste your pixel ID in the field labeled Meta pixel ID.

  5. Click Save.

After you add a Meta pixel to Booqable, the pixel automatically starts tracking events in your online store.

Track the following standard events:

Event name

Event description

InitiateCheckout

A customer clicks the checkout button

AddPaymentInfo

A customer enters payment information in the checkout

Purchase

A customer places an order and views the thank you page in the checkout

AddToCart

2. Google Analytics (GA4)

💡Notice: On July 1 2023, Google has transitioned from Universal Analytics to GA4. This guide has been updated to reflect these changes. You can find a guide to migrating your data here if you currently use Universal Analytics.

With Google Analytics, you can track visitors, sessions, and other behavior on your site.

  1. If you haven't already, follow Google's steps to set up Analytics and Create a GA4 property only.

  2. If you embed Booqable's store on your website, also add Analytics to your website.

  3. Keep in mind the integration only tracks events in the Booqable checkout.

  4. In Booqable, go to Settings > SEO > Tracking.

  5. Paste your GA4 Measurement ID (e.g., G-123...) in the field labeled Google Analytics ID.

  6. Click Save.

💡Note: Make sure you don't have tracking enabled already in your custom scripts; adding Google Analytics more than once results in inaccurate data
