Automatically translate your Booqable website into multiple languages with the Weglot app.
By installing this app, visitors will be able to select the language in which they want to browse your website, enabling you to serve international customers with ease.
How it works
1. Install the Weglot app
Click on the "App Store" tab in the navigation menu.
Select the Weglot app and click on "Install app".
Paste your Weglot API key in the field labeled API Key. To generate a Weglot API key, follow the configuration guide below.
Click Save.
2. Add Weglot to your Booqable website
Weglot language dropdown can be added to the header or the footer of your Booqable website.
1. To do this, access your Booqable Website Builder and navigate to the header or footer of your site.
2. Select the add an app option and from there, add Weglot.
A language dropdown will be added to your header like below.
💡Note: Additionally, you can set the dropdown direction to "Up" or "Down".
3. Configure your Weglot app
1. Create an account on Weglot by clicking here.
2. Select "Other" as your "Website technology."
3. Choose "Use Javascript integration."
4. Set the "Original Language" to "English" add add languages you want to offer to your visitors under "Translated languages."
5. Copy the API key from the Weglot snippet
6. Paste the API key in the API Key field in the Booqable Weglot app configuration. The API key should be copied in the following format: wg_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Manage Weglot settings in Booqable
These actions will allow you to manage your subscription plan or uninstall the application.
1. To adjust your application settings, start by navigating to the App Store dashboard and selecting your app, or access it directly from the App Store tab within your Booqable account.
2. Once you've entered your app's configuration settings, locate and click on the cogwheel icon situated in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can now adjust your plan or uninstall the app.
