How it works with Booqable
With the Xero app, you can connect your Xero account to Booqable to automate financial workflows.
When a document such as an invoice or credit note is finalized in Booqable, a corresponding document is created in Xero.
If an invoice is revised or deleted, the integration voids the previous version and creates a new one automatically.
This ensures your accounting data stays accurate without manual work.
During setup
After installing the Xero app, you’ll be prompted to configure the connection between the two systems.
Account mappings
Map your Booqable income categories such as Rental Income, Product Sales, or Delivery Income to the correct Xero Chart of Accounts.
This ensures that revenue is categorized correctly when syncing transactions.
Tax mappings
Match your Booqable tax rates to those defined in Xero to ensure consistent tax handling and prevent errors during export.
Connected Xero tenant
Once connected, your active Xero tenant will appear on the configuration page.
You can disconnect from Xero at any time to stop synchronization.
Things to keep in mind
The integration syncs data one way, from Booqable to Xero.
Customer tax profiles are not currently supported.
Only documents that use tax regions with a 0% tax rate (for example, international clients) are supported. Documents with other tax rates may not sync correctly.
Once configured, data including contacts, currencies, accounts, and documents syncs automatically in real time.
