Google Ads is Google’s advertising platform where businesses run paid campaigns to attract new customers.


It tracks ad spend, clicks, and conversions so you can measure performance.


How it works with Booqable

With the Google Ads app, you can connect your Google Ads account to Booqable.

During setup, you’ll be asked to enter your Conversion ID and Conversion Label from your Google Ads account.

Once connected, every time an order is placed in Booqable, a conversion event is automatically sent to Google Ads.


This allows you to measure how your ad campaigns drive actual rentals and sales.


How to find your Conversion ID and Conversion Label

You can find your Conversion ID and Conversion Label in your Google Ads account.

To do this:

  1. Log in to Google Ads.

  2. Click Tools & Settings (the wrench icon in the top-right corner).

  3. Under Measurement, select Conversions.

  4. From the list, choose the conversion action you want to track.

  5. On that conversion’s details page, click Tag setup.

  6. Choose either Install the tag yourself or Use Google Tag Manager, depending on your setup.

  7. In the code snippet that appears, look for something like this:

    gtag('event', 'conversion', {   'send_to': 'AW-123456789/AbCdEfGhIjKlMnOpQr', });

    The part before the slash (AW-123456789) is your Conversion ID,
    and the part after the slash (AbCdEfGhIjKlMnOpQr) is your Conversion Label.

You’ll need both of these values when connecting Google Ads to Booqable.


What it does

  • Automatically tracks when orders in Booqable are completed

  • Sends these as conversion events to Google Ads

  • Lets you measure cost per conversion and campaign performance in your Google Ads dashboard


Limitations

  • You cannot create, edit, or manage ads directly from within Booqable

  • The integration only tracks completed orders as conversions


In short

The Google Ads app connects your Ads account to Booqable so that every order placed in Booqable is sent to Google Ads as a conversion.


This helps you understand the return on your ad spend and optimize your campaigns for better results.
