The Booqable mobile app can process pickups and returns for orders through the dashboard and order screen manually and with the barcode scanner.
This allows you to quickly process orders and move on the serving the next customer or another task without having to go to your computer.
How it works
1. The dashboard
For each order on the dashboard, you will see a button for the action you need to take for an order.
If an order needs to be picked up, it will be orange and display Pick-up. You can tap this button to be brought straight into the pick-up screen for the order.
If an order needs to be returned, it will be green and display Return. You can tap this button to be brought straight into the return screen for the order.
From these screens, you can confirm that all items are present and mark the order as picked up or returned.
2. The orders tab
1. From the orders tab, you can tap into an order and either select Pick-up or Return, depending on the action that needs to be taken.
This will take you to the appropriate screen to pick up or return items on an order. From there, you can confirm that all items are present and mark the order as picked up or returned.
💡Note: Documents are not available in the iOS & Android app. To check documents, you will need to log in directly to your Booqable account via a browser.
3. The barcode scanner
You can use the barcode scanner to improve accuracy when marking orders as picked up or returned.
1. Simply tap the barcode icon at the bottom of the screen to bring up the barcode scanner, so you can scan items' QR codes or barcodes. This will ensure that the specified stock items are sent out or collected and avoid issues with future orders.
