Every Booqable account includes a pre-built booking page that allows your customers to place rental orders for your store.
Follow the article below to learn how to effectively use the booking page to accept online bookings.
How it works
Booqable hosts a basic booking page for your rental business, so you can try online bookings without installing anything on your website or creating a website using the Booqable website builder. If you don't have a website, you can use the booking page to accept online bookings.
The Booqable booking page has products availability that is updated automatically in real time, and pricing and availability that is displayed optionally.
To turn the online booking page on, go to Online store > Online bookings > Booking page and click Set live if you are ready to publish your online booking page.
The components that will appear on the booking page are as follows.
1. Products and collections
Products in your inventory automatically appear on your booking page. A list of your collections is shown on the left sidebar of the booking page.
Set these up from your Inventory in Booqable. Follow our guides on how to create and manage products and how to create collections.
2. Shopping cart
The shopping cart fits beautifully with any theme and is customizable to fit your business. Change branding colors, wording using translations and use it to take reservations or quotes.
3. Date picker
Let customers select their desired rental period.
Depending on your needs, you can set up the date picker to accept any dates and times, fixed durations, or time slots as the selectable rental period.
4. Secure checkout
A securely hosted checkout with support for coupon codes and integrated payment processing.
As your customers check out their orders, they appear in Booqable automatically.
Collect any additional information about an order or customer by using custom checkout fields.
How to customize the booking page
The booking page is designed to be quickly ready to use and simple in design, but you can still make some changes to better suit your rental business.
Add your logo
You can add your company logo to your booking page which will appear in the top left corner. To do this:
Go to Settings > General > Company info
Upload your logo to the Logo section
Your logo will now appear on your booking page!
Change the branding color
You can change the color of buttons on the product pages, cart, and checkout by changing your store's brand color.
Go to Settings > Preferences > Branding
Use the color picker to choose a brand color or enter a Hex code.
Use translations to customize your wording
If your business operates in a different language or you would like to customize phrasing for your booking page, use translations by following these steps:
Go to Settings > Translations
From here, you can change all customer-facing words.
💡Tip: If you're searching for specific words or phrases, use CTRL + F on Windows or CMD + F on Mac and type them in to quickly find them on the translations page.
