Refersion is an affiliate and influencer marketing platform that helps you manage affiliates, track referral traffic, and automatically attribute conversions. By installing the Refersion app, every completed checkout on your Booqable store is reported back to Refersion with the order details, so your affiliates get credit for the sales they drive.
How it works
When a visitor arrives at your store through an affiliate link, the Refersion tracking script records the visit. When that visitor completes a checkout, the app automatically sends a conversion to Refersion with the following details:

This data allows Refersion to calculate commissions, attribute sales to the correct affiliate, and provide accurate reporting in your Refersion dashboard.
1. Create a Refersion account
If you don't already have one, sign up for a Refersion account.
Complete the onboarding steps in Refersion to set up your affiliate program.
2. Enable v4 tracking in Refersion
Before connecting Booqable, make sure that v4 tracking is enabled in your Refersion account:
In your Refersion account, go to Account > Settings > Tracking.
Ensure that JavaScript v4 Tracking is enabled. This is the tracking method used by the Booqable integration.

3. Find your Public API key
On the same Tracking settings page, locate your Public API key. This is the key you will enter into Booqable. It typically looks like
pub_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
4. Install the Refersion app in Booqable
In Booqable, click on the App Store tab in the navigation menu.
Select the Refersion app and click Install app.
Paste your Refersion Public API key in the field labeled Public API key.
Click Save.
Once saved, the Refersion tracking script will automatically load on your Booqable storefront. It will begin tracking affiliate visits immediately and report conversions whenever a customer completes checkout.
5. Verify the integration
To test the Refersion integration, you need to open your live online store — the tracking script does not run in the Booqable back office or in the website builder preview. Visit your published store URL (e.g., yourcompany.booqable.shop or your custom domain) to verify.
Open your live Booqable online store in a browser with the developer tools open (press F12 or right-click > Inspect).
Go to the Console tab.
You should see a
[refersion] loadedmessage, confirming the Refersion SDK has been initialized.Complete a test order. After checkout, you should see
[refersion] sending conversion to Refersionin the console.Log in to your Refersion dashboard and check that the test conversion appears.
Note: If you are using a coupon code on the test order, the coupon code and discount amount will also be sent to Refersion.
6. Manage your app
These actions will allow you to manage your subscription plan or uninstall the application.
To adjust your application settings, start by navigating to the App Store dashboard and selecting your app, or access it directly from the App Store tab within your Booqable account.
Once you've entered your app's configuration settings, locate and click on the cogwheel icon situated in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can then adjust your plan, or uninstall the app.
7. Match your tax settings
To ensure that commission calculations in Refersion are accurate, your tax settings in Refersion must match how prices are configured in Booqable.
If your Booqable store displays prices including tax, configure Refersion to treat item prices as tax-inclusive.
If your Booqable store displays prices excluding tax, configure Refersion to treat item prices as tax-exclusive.
The item prices sent to Refersion match the pricing format you have configured in Booqable. If there is a mismatch, affiliate commissions may be calculated on the wrong amounts.
To check your Booqable tax settings, go to Settings > Taxes. To adjust your Refersion tax settings, log in to your Refersion account and navigate to Account > Settings > Calculation Logic.
FAQ
Does the Refersion app work with embedded Booqable stores?
Yes. The Refersion tracking script is included in your Booqable checkout, so it works whether you use a Booqable-hosted website or embed Booqable on a third-party website. However, if you embed Booqable, you may also want to install the Refersion tracking script on your main website to track affiliate visits on non-Booqable pages.
What happens if a customer doesn't use an affiliate link?
If the customer arrives directly (without an affiliate link), the Refersion SDK will still load but will not attribute the conversion to any affiliate. No commission will be generated.
Can I track coupon-based affiliate referrals?
Yes. The app sends the coupon code and discount amount with each conversion. You can configure coupon-based tracking in Refersion by assigning specific coupon codes to affiliates in the Refersion dashboard.
Is there a cost for the Refersion app in Booqable?
The Booqable app itself is free to install. However, you will need an active Refersion subscription. See Refersion's pricing page for details.
