If you are like most rental business's, you probably won't want your customers picking up rentals in the middle of the night.
Thankfully, you can set-up operating hours to set the specific operating hours your business can accept pickups and returns of your rental products.
How it works
By default, before you adjust your operating hours, online bookings will be accepted by your store 24/7.
Once you set-up operating hours, your online customers will not be able to select dates outside of your business hours as the start or end of a rental order.
This means if your operating hours are set to 9.00am - 5.00pm, customers cannot request their pickup to be 8.00am, or their return to be 6.00pm.
1. Set up your operating hours
Go to Settings > Rental period > Operating hours.
Enable Operating hours.
Click βAdd time slotβ, then choose the days and times you can accept pickups and returns.
2. Set up 'Away mode'
If you're on holiday, for example, activating away mode can allow you to block reservations from your online store for a certain period of dates.
Away mode is applied to all products in the inventory.
Go to Settings > Rental period > Away mode.
Enable away mode.
Click βAdd away periodβ, then choose the date range you want to block for rental orders.
You're all set!
