Booqable gives you full control over how products appear in your online store. Whether you want to highlight your most popular items, promote new arrivals, or customize the layout of a specific collection, there are two main ways to sort products:
Drag & drop to manually arrange products in collections
Choose a default sorting method for automatic ordering
How sorting works on the online store
By default, your online store displays products from the “All Products” collection.
The order of products in this collection determines how they appear in your storefront, unless you choose a different sorting method in your settings.

Reorder products using drag & drop
You can manually reorder products within any collection using a simple drag & drop interface.
This is useful when:
You want to control the order of your full product catalog (via “All Products”)
You’ve created custom collections like “Cameras” or “Lighting” and want to customize their order on dedicated store pages
To reorder products in a collection:
Go to Inventory > Collections.
Click on the collection you want to organize (e.g., “All Products” or “Cameras”).
Use drag & drop to rearrange products in your preferred order.
📝 Note: Service items are not included in collections and use a different sorting method (see below).
Set a default sorting method (optional)
If you don’t want to manually reorder products, you can choose a rule that automatically determines how products are sorted in your online store.
To set the default sorting method:
Go to Settings > Preferences > Sorting.
Choose one of the following options:
Standard sorting (uses your collection order)
Price (Ascending)
Price (Descending)
Newest first

Standard sorting
Displays products in the order you've arranged them in your collections using drag & drop.
The “All Products” collection controls the main storefront view.
Any other collection (e.g., “Cameras”) will follow its own custom order if displayed on a separate store page.
Price (Ascending)
Displays products from lowest to highest price.
Price (Descending)
Displays products from highest to lowest price.
Newest first
Displays the most recently added products first.
How sorting works for service items
Service items do not appear in collections and cannot be reordered using drag & drop. Instead, they are sorted using custom numeric values you assign manually.
How it works:
All service items start with a value of 0
Lower numbers appear first in your cart
You can assign values to control their display order
💡 For example, set your most popular service item to ‘1’ to display it first in the cart.
To set a sorting value:
Go to Inventory > Products.
Click on the service item.
Go to the Online store tab.
Find the Sorting value field and enter a number.
