Every business is unique in how they feel they can best display their rental products on the online store.
Booqable's product sorting tool allows you to be in control of which orders your products are displayed, and how customers can filter through them in the product catalogue.
How it works
There are four different sorting methods for your online store:
Standard sorting (product names + custom sorting)
Price (Ascending)
Price (Descending)
Newest first
To set the sorting order for your online store, follow the instructions below.
1. Go to Products and choose the product for which you want to change the sort order.
2. Head over to the Online store settings tab and scroll down to the Online store section.
3. Choose Price (Ascending) from the Sorting order drop down menu.
1. Standard sorting + custom sorting
The products in your online store are sorted alphabetically by default.
This is called standard sorting, which you can choose to combine with the custom sorting (below). If you set up custom sorting, this will override the standard sorting.
You can choose custom sorting to adjust your products by moving or more to the top (or bottom) of your product catalogue list in Inventory > click into an individual product > Settings.
💡Note: All items start by being defaulted to the value zero. The custom sorting displays products with lower numbers first. For example: you can set your most popular product with the value '1' to have it display first in your product catalogue.
3. Price (Ascending)
You can choose Price (Ascending) to adjust your products by displaying them in the order of lowest price, to highest price (with lowest appearing first).
4. Price (Descending)
You can choose Price (Descending) to adjust your products by displaying them in the order of highest price, to lowest price (with highest appearing first).
5. Newest first
You can choose to display your products by the newest products added to your inventory appearing first in your product catalogue list.
