With the introduction of the Booqable Rental Website Builder, many users will find themselves saying goodbye to our old version of the Booqable online store - the Booqable hosted store.

The Booqable hosted store was a one page simplistic display of your product catalogue with a booqable.store custom domain that allows you to distribute to your customers with no setup, as soon as you launch your Booqable account.

The following article will show you how you can upgrade from using the Booqable hosted store to the new Booqable Rental Website Builder.

How it works

Upgrading from the hosted store is as simple as hitting Publish on your new Rental Website Builder store.

1. You can access a basic hosted store by visiting [your-company].booqable.store if you enable the Booqable online store in your Online store settings.

2. If you want to use a store you have created in the new website builder, you will need to Publish your website from the theme editor.

Now, when you visit [your-company].booqable.store, you will see your new website instead of the basic one.

FAQ

1. Can I then revert back to the old online hosted store?

Absolutely! To revert back to the old online hosted store, you need to go the Online store page of your Booqable main menu on the left hand side of your home screen, scroll down to Themes, and hit revert latest publication.

If you have published more than one update, you will need to keep clicking this option until the option is no longer available.

2. Will this effect my website with Shopify, Squarespace, Wordpress or another host?

No. If you have connected Booqable to a website of your own, this action won't affect you or the Booqable components embedded on this third-party website.

You're all set!

You have now successfully learnt how to upgrade from the Booqable hosted store to the new, all-in-one Rental Website Builder.
