If you wish to accept payments in-store and online, by charging credit cards and more, you will need to connect your Booqable account to a payment gateway.
The following article will guide you through how to connect your Booqable account to Stripe's payment gateway, to accept payments around the clock.
How it works
You can connect with Stripe to start accepting payments directly through credit cards or through the payment methods Stripe offers.
All of these payment methods can be used to accept payments in your online store or from payment requests. In addition, you can charge or authorize holds on credit cards, directly from Booqable.
💡Note: Booqable does not charge transaction fees; however, Stripe may charge fees, which depend on the country where your business is based. To find out more about potential transaction charges, please visit Stripe's pricing page.
1. Set up payments through Stripe
Go to Settings > Payment providers
Under Payment gateways click Connect with Stripe to open up a new window that will take you to Stripe.
Fill out the required information, or -if you already have a Stripe account- click Already have an account.
Once you have completed the setup, go back to Booqable into Settings > Checkout > Payments in checkout and specify the amount you wish to charge upon checkout, this can be set as a partial, full, or no payment.
